The best Luxembourg rider of his generation, Bob is a pro since 2013, and even though many were predicting for him a future on the cobbles a couple of years ago, he took a different road and decided to pursue a future in stage races, which proved a wise decision, as highlighted by the two seasons already spent in the Quick-Step Floors kit.
So far, Bob finished twice in the top 10 overall at Tirreno-Adriatico and Giro d’Italia, each time claiming the best young rider jersey, thanks to his strong time trialing skills, backed up by a solid ride on the mountains, all qualities of a champion in the making. On top of that, he sprinted to a fine victory from a select group at the centenary edition of the Corsa Rosa, becoming the first Luxembourger in 56 years to win a stage in the race.
