Dries returns to the team after the three years and is set to be an important asset for the one-day races, although he proved that he can shine also in week-long stage races, his 2016 successes at the Tour of Belgium and Tour de Wallonie standing as proof for his versatility.
“I love the one-day races, with their atmosphere and crazy racing. Next season I look forward to these events together with Quick-Step Floors and if I stay healthy I hope to do some of them, to bring my contribution to the team’s success and maybe get some opportunities for myself”, said the Belgian ahead of his 11th pro season.
